On Site Manufacturing and Assembly We've recently added a fully functional wood mill to our 47,000 sq. ft. headquarters and distribution center in San Diego, California. Our We saw an opportunity to start providing more wood products. Our new capabilities allow us to service a lot more short-run and short time frame business that our customers are requesting. Rapid Prototyping and Design Integration Having a manfacturing on site gives us an opportunity to do more rapid prototyping and be more integrated with our design team. We can actually create a design in the computer or even on the back of a napkin and coordinate quickly with our domestic shop to be able to get a prototype developed and tweaked. This improves our whole product development capability has improved and has the potential to improve even further because of the proximity. LEED and Environmental Sustainability Finally, we see the trend toward environmental sustainability continuing and having a domestic wood capability will help retailers who are concerned about that because they get more LEED points when they source products from within a 500 mile radius. That allows us to serve a large part of California from our location in Oceanside, CA.
