OFFSET PRINTING


A widely used printing technique where the inked image is transfered (or "offset") from a plate to a
rubber blanket, then to the printing surface.

Advantages

Consistent high image quality. Offset printing produces sharper and cleaner images and type then
letterpress printing because the rubber blanket conforms to the texture of the printing surface.

COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL (CNC)


A computer controlled operating system that powers a machine tool typically used to fabricate components
by the selective removal of material.

Advantages

Precision machine cutting for complex metal shapes such parts, logos, text, and signs.

CNC machines are programmed with a design which can be manufactured hundreds or even thousands
of times. Each manufactured product will be exactly the same in every detail.

CNC machines can be used continously 24 hours a day 365 days a year and only need to be switched
off for occational maintenance.

DIGITAL PRINTING


Advantages

Consistent high image quality. Digital printing produces sharp and clean imagery on a large range of
product.

Excellent for rapid reproduction and prototyping.

Useable for both small and large formats, and drafting and design elements.

Resolution

Resolution and DPI (dots per inch) image quality varies among artwork and printer capability.

At Rich LTD. we are capable of printing a large variety of resolutions raging from 72dpi to 12, 000 dpi.

VACUUM FORMING


The process in which a piece of plastic is heated to a forming temperature, stretched onto, or into, a
single surface mold, and held against the mold by applying vacuum between the mold surface and the
sheet.

Advantages

Vacuum forming can be used to make light weight 3 dimensional plastic signs and logos for a dynamic
look.

Can be used to make most product packaging, speaker casings, car dashboards, display bases and sign
formations.

Vacuum forming can be used on a wide color pallet including clear acrylic.

Image materials can be applied to vacuum forming through the use of paint, screen printing, and
sticker creations.

DIE CUTTING


A manufacturing process used to generate large numbers of the same shape from a material such as
wood, plastic, metal, or fabric.

Advantages

Die cutting allows for complex design shapes in store display signage.

Efficiently cuts material with minimal waste of product, therefore saving money during the process.

Customizable and uniquely matched to the specific product they are used to create. Die cutting can be
used on anything from simple paper to complex plastic or metal materials.
