Not only does our custom work include stand-alone POP displays and store fixtures, but as part of our retail store build-outs we work with our customers to design and manufacture the retail fixtures to create Pop-Up stores or Pop-Up shops. Pop-Up retail is a fast-growing segment of retail whereby brands create a “store-within-a-store” or open a stand-alone store for a season or a limited period of time.

It’s a great way for brands to get exposure in physical retail stores and interact with customers to get valuable feedback without the expense of leasing permanent space. Brands also typically see a boost in their online sales after the instore exposure. It has proven to be a fairly cost-effective customer acquisition strategy. Retailers also benefit by featuring new brands/ products and changing up their mix which drives increased foot traffic and repeat store visits.

Our Pop-up Store experience encompasses both dedicated seasonal Pop-Up shop displays as well as temporary store-within-a-store formats.

Rails Pop-Up Stores- An example of a store-within-a-store is one we created for an apparel brand called Rails. Sold in 40 countries and 1200+ retail stores, Rails’ product line combines a Southern California lifestyle vibe with a more refined European aesthetic. We manufactured the fixtures for Rails’ Pop-up stores in Nordstroms. The fixture assortment included multiple metal clothing racks with wood accents, nesting table sets, display boxes, rack wall dividers, and a full-scale branded clothing cabana.

Vuori Pop-Up Store- An example of a stand-alone, dedicated Pop-Up store was the work we did to help the apparel brand Vuori open its first Pop-Up retail store. Vuori chose a ritzy section of the Hamptons on Long Isand during the busy summer season. Most of the fixtures we built for the Pop-Up store were the same as the ones we build for their permanent retail stores such as modular walls with accessories (shelves, apparel bars, faceouts, magnetic graphics), merchandising tables, display boxes, a cash wrap, wall signage, and other items.
